Join us for a hands-on workshop on equine seat, timing, feel, and balance. This event will help you develop a deeper connection with your horse by helping you understand and improve your riding skills. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced rider, enhance your communication with your equine partner.
Let’s talk seat, let’s add subtle cues to our riding for the sake of the horse. We can all improve our communication with our equine partners. Come join Janine and Simon Aberg (horsemanship and fitness instructors) together with Pilates Specialist Michelle Dowell for an event that will change your riding forever. Get your horse paying attention to you, and give yourself a chance to improve your communication with your horse.
Don’t miss this opportunity to refine your riding techniques and bond with your horse! We will focus on improving your timing, feel, and balance, this is a clinic never to forget. We will also give you personal recommendations and exercises to work on and improve your seat. You will have a personalized session on your pelvis placement with Michelle, and Janine and Simon will give you each a personal one-on-one session on our or your own horses.
This clinic is designed to help you find deep and true connection with your equine partners. Will will also practice some meditative processes to help with your feel and balance. Join us for a day which you will be able to remember and draw on for years to come.

Camps for kids
Full Day of horses, art, dance and gymnastics. Sleep over on the first night and a performance in the am on the third day for parents. $350
This Camp is only for existing students and intermediate or advanced riders joining from other locations. Limited spaces. Students do not need to spend the night. This camp will cover some intermediate horsemanship, lots of time with horses and other fun activities, including some equine archery.
Day 1: 9am and can over night or pick up at 6pm. We cover basics in horsemanship and play equine games, we will ride and do activities with the horses. In the heat of the afternoon we will focus on an equine art project and some gymnastic skills to prepare for vaulting the following day. We will also have time to do an assortment of archery, equine archery, horse games, vaulting, ground work skills with horses, playing in some sprinklers and rest time. We will have a movie, or board games in the evening and dinner.
We will have an art project on each day and we will do a class of basic gymnastics and dance.
Day 2: 9am-5pm
Fun chores and riding in the am, along with other horse focused activities. In the afternoon we will do vaulting, riding (dressage and western), ease of handling obstacles, equine archery, and we will prepare for the show on the next day.
We will doing a live drawing project and work on balance skills with the horses and in the studio.
Day 3: 9am Prepping horses for the show for parents. Parent show is at noon and kids can go home at after the show.
These two camps will include Equine activities, Dance, Gymnastics and Art. This year we are combining our equine, art and dance camps so that Children will have more opportunity to try new things and we will have time to cool down indoors with art projects and increase the children’s stamina and balance. I am looking forward to combining things for this year as often kids compline that they want to come to more than one camp. This year we trying an all in one approach.

This camp will include Natural Horsemanship classes, riding lesson, snack time, craft, and a few farm chores (like brushing horses, feeding chickens, and tending to some plants). We will have some quiet focus time with the animals, teaching children to calm down the business in their minds to connect with the animals. We will also have a lot of physically active time time so clothing that can get dirty is highly recommended.
The focus of this camp is to build confidence in the children and guide them to find a true love and connection with the animals and the land. On this farm we practice Natural Horsemanship and mindfulness with our animals so this education will be included in the camps.
Children will need to bring clothing that can get dirty and wet, as well as a change of clothing incase something gets too dirty…. Please send along a snack and water bottle for your child.
Dance and Gymnastics: Janine will teach and we will have some outside teachers coming into help with other styles like hip hop and Irish step dance etc.
Art: For the art segment of the camps we will focus on equine projects both 2D and 3D projects with drawing, painting, molding and some study of art history.

This camp will include basic drawing lessons, painting of a canvas each day, group painting, fun and active art activities both indoors and outdoors. Face painting activities and composition basics will be included in the lesson times. We will also learn about one famous artist each day and practice different styles of painting.
Children will need to bring clothing that can get painted on and a change of clothing that can be worn outdoors and get dirty. Please send along a snack and water bottle for your child.

This camp will include dance classes, choreography basics, building relationships through dance and physical activities. We will dance and move both outdoors and indoors doing a variety of movement games. We will also include some theatrical games and acting basics. Kids will explore a little history of dance and practice dancing to a variety of music from classical to modern pop. Lessons will include ballet, modern, contemporary and some gymnastic movement. We will also do a dance focused craft each day and some “yoga” stretches and mental focus practice.
Children will need to bring clothing they can dance in and also a change of clothing that can get dirty outdoors, a water bottle, and small snack.
